CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

Working safely in the construction industry is important for everyone. Knowing how to work safely, identify hazards, how to rectify hazards using the Hierarchy of Control, and knowing how to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment. This is a hands on practical unit run over one day. This unit forms the basic worksite requirements for working in the construction industry, but also the basis for all workplaces.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Students must be at least 14 years of age
  • Have a valid form of identification (ideally a drivers licence or Medicare card)
  • Must hold a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) or be able to get one.

Fees: $180

Duration of Course: 1-Day

Successful students will receive their White Card and a Statement of Attainment and wallet card for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
