MSMWHS217 Gas test atmosphere

This Gas testing atmospheres training course is designed for personnel who may need to undertake monitoring of potentially hazardous atmospheres in the workplace. Areas that may need to be atmospherically tested may include: confined spaces, work around hazardous material storage areas, restricted spaces, drainage pits or areas which contain dangerous goods.  This training course will teach personnel when gas testing is required, how to conduct gas testing and how to determine if the atmosphere is safe to work in. The course is suitable for an individual working alone or within a team.

Valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) or two (2) valid forms of identification (1 x Primary 1 x Secondary).
You will need to bring the following PPE with you :
Safety glasses (clear as you will be in a dark space)
High vis (shirt or vest)
Steep capped boots
Safety helmet (if you have one allocated, we will have these available for use)

2021 Fees: $250

Duration of Course: Half Day

Successful students will receive a Statement of Attainment.
