Qualification Description
This qualification provides a pathway to the primary trades in the construction industry with the exception of plumbing. This Certificate II allows for inclusion of skills suited for entry to off-site occupations, such as joinery and shopfitting as well as carpentry, bricklaying and other occupations in general construction.
This course provides an introduction to recognised trade callings in the construction industry and provides meaningful credit in a construction industry Australian Apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
Must have completed general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCWHS1001 covers this requirement.
Satisfactory completion of LLN Assessment before course commencement.
